One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
This is a piece for a competition by Penguin Books. I wanted to do something simplistic since that has inspired me a lot recently. Something where I use graphic metaphors to communicate what the book is about.

McMurphy (main character in the book) is locked up at a mental institution. Most people there are there by choice, free to leave whenever they want. McMurphy is there against his will, it's a prison to him. He is also not mentally ill. So the different colored triangle on the front cover represents McMurphy - being different from the other, connected patternlike triangles. The colourchoice is to connect the cover to the medications the patients are forced to take.
